Picking What To Juggle

Published by mythicalphoenix at 12:42 pm under Finding Balance Edit This

I have always been the type of person who wants to do everything, and even attempts to do everything - and somehow nothing gets done.  I am sure there are others that can relate to that since “I can do everything, I can not say no” is a mantra for myself and many friends of mine.  I have burned too many hours, worried myself, and burned out trying to do everything.  I want the next year of working and working from home to be as productive and un-stressful as possible.  I am tired of spinning my wheels and getting nowhere.  I think my next goal is going to be selecting what work at home opportunities I am going to focus on, and which need to be thrown out.  The following project will be setting up my den so it is more conducive to getting work done.

For those who do work at home or who are looking to make extra income Associated Content has been the way to go so far.  Others have worked, but they are geared towards earning passive income instead.  I think the best choice I can make is to choose one site out of eHow, Helium, Hubpages, or Squidoo and build it as a passive income generator over the next year.  And then of course, my blog.

And then there is the issue of figuring out what needs to be left out and changed over the next year.  I need to loose the mantra of “I can do everything” to “I need to focus my energy on specific things, and complete them to the best of my ability.”  Time for some personal inventory, and “cleaning” to make my life more balanced and complete.
