Excellent Resource For Bloggers
I just finished reading a book that is an excellent resource for any blogger, from novice to expert and paid to unpaid. It is called “How to Make Money with Your Blog” by Duane Forrester. Even though the focus of the book is on starting a paid blog or blogging for money - it gives a ton of great free resources for any blogger. It also generated a number of ideas for new posts and additions to my existing blog. And the best part is that if you are trying to become a paid blogger - the techniques work. I learned a lot of common mistakes, many of which I was making. Once they were fixed, my blogs started doing much better.
Working from home has given me a new perspective, especially when it comes to the world of paid blogging. But as of yesterday, my free blogs have started generating money! Granted, it is all of a few cents, but it is a start. For all of those who are new to working at home, the key with any of the process is patience. If you are freelancing on your own, from writing, creating, and selling, it will take you at least 6 months before you see any progress. The best advice I can give you is do not give up, no matter how tempting it may be. It was at the points when I was about to give up, my blogs and stores started generating income in addition to my freelance writing.
The Internet is a very odd and complex place when it comes to earning money, I only hope I can learn some of its nuances.
